About
I knew at a young age that art would be an important path in my
life journey. Although, not unlike many daughters, wives and mothers,
my journey to this place in time has taken many detours. I happily find
that after all these detours I have more patience, and a more "seasoned"
sense of artistic perspective. This "artistic maturity", along with
guidance from an amazing instructor, has brought more depth to
my painting than I would have achcieved before my journey.
Beauty is all around us whether it's a piece of ripe fruit, a sweet flower,
the curve of a simple vessel, or an inviting tranquil landscape.
The depth and range of color and the play of light on any object, or place,
all happen at a moment in time never to be seen again.
My goal is to capture the beauty of those moments
and share them in my paintings.
